Built by a former Head of Sixth Form.

I was a Head of Sixth Form, and before that a Head of UCAS. Every autumn I watched the same thing happen: the students who most needed a plan were the ones least likely to ask for one, and the tools we had were either a library nobody read or a spreadsheet only I could read.

What I wanted was simple to say and hard to build. Something that knew what each course or vacancy really asked for, knew where each student really was, and came back every week with the next useful thing to do. Not a chatbot that waits to be asked and forgets. Not a directory. A tutor with a very long memory, for every student, that I could see from above without reading their diaries.

That is Outleap. It is a small company: one founder, one product, built in the UK. In use in sixth forms now. It is hosted on Google Cloud in UK and EU regions. It does not train on pupil data. It gives AI feedback on a student’s own words; nothing changes in their draft unless they choose it. Where it cannot be sure, it says “Can’t tell”.
